Panama
Panama is home to amazing wildlife, incredible beaches, waterfalls and everything else you dream about for your tropical vacation!
I consider Panama a hidden gem of a country, as it is, compared to it´s popular neighbour Costa Rica for example, much less visited by tourists.
Some areas like Bocas del Toro and Boquete are quite touristy as well but there also many areas that are hardly visited by tourists.
You can easily spend a month in Panama without getting bored, there is so much to do and see all over the country.
My very favorite place in Panama are the San Blas Islands. This archipelago consists of over 300 islands and one is prettier than the other. White sand, crystal blue water and an intact reef. Exactly my thing! Check out my detailed blog post about visiting the San Blas Islands below.
